PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improveme deflection efficiency and convergence compensation efficiency by a coma coil, while bringing the coma coil iron plate close to tube axis as much as possible, and to enable shortening of its entire length. SOLUTION: A deflection yoke consists of a coil bobbin 8, which is attached to a cathode-ray tube 1, has a hollow shape, which spreads gradually from the neck part of this cathode-ray tube toward a funnel part, and has a bend-less shape in at least the neck part side, a deflection coil 7, which is equipped to the coil bobbin 8, and coma coils 14, which are equipped to the neck part side of the coil bobbin 8. Furthermore, the deflection yoke 5 is arranged with a pair of coma coil magnetic substances 13 and 13, which are wound with the coma coils 14, immediately after the deflection coil 7, so that they face each other, making the tube axis of the cathode-ray tube as the center, and is arranged with the wound part of the coma coils 14, so that they overlap to the deflection coil 7 in the tube axis direction.
