PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering folding door facilitating the cleaning of a floor and having high safety without impairing the outside appearance of the floor of an opening section. SOLUTION: The three point supporting system covering folding door includes a door 1 consisting of two door plates 1a and 1b connected in a foldable manner for closing the opening section, an upper rail 3 fixed to the top surface inside of the opening section and located on the rear side of the door 1, an upper hinge member 4 mounted to one side section of the upper part of the rear side of the door 1 and held by the upper rail 3, an upper slide hinge member 8 mounted to the other side section of the rear side of the door 1 and traveling along the upper rail 3, a lower hinge member 12 mounted to the lower part of the rear side of the door 1 so that a horizontal pivot can become the same axis as that of a horizontal pivot of the upper hinge member 4 and a holding device mounted to the floor opposed to the lower hinge member 12 and fixing the lower hinge member 12, and since there is no lower rail on the floor, the cleaning can be easily made to have high safety without impairing the outside appearance.
