FLAME-RETARDANT POLYESTER-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester-based resin composition having excellent flame retardance without using a halogen-based organic compound and not having bad influence on properties of the polyester-based resin composition such as mechanical properties and processability. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant polyester-based resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. polyester-based resin with (B) 10-50 pts.wt. novolak type phenol resin having >=120 deg.C softening point, (C) 10-80 pts.wt. melamine phosphates, (D) 0-100 pts.wt. glass fiber and (E) 0-2.5 pts.wt. silane coupling agent having either one group among epoxy group, vinyl group and mercapto group and having an alkoxy group.
