A method and a notification server and system for notifying at least one second user (6) in a communication system that at least one first user (4) has tried to reach the second user (6) through a first communication medium.According to the invention the method comprises notifying the second user (6) through a second communication medium, which is different from the first communication medium and by attaching contacting means in the notification for the second user (6) to use to contact the first user (4).
