PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical changeover device that can quickly detect reflecting light with respect to an optical signal transferred on a plurality of optical transmission lines and inform of it and to provide a reflection measurement system to measure the reflected light in the changeover device. SOLUTION: This invention provides an optical changeover device comprising optical switching devices in multi-stage connection each having a reflection monitor function capable of surely and quickly detecting and informing of the reflected light produced inside an optical signal processing unit comprising a plurality of optical components. This invention provides a method for surely and quickly detecting or informing of a reflected light produced inside the optical changeover device.
