PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle slowdown hump deformed to relieve impact when a driver sees a vehicle slowdown hump in advance and slows down to go over the hump while being hardly deformed to apply impact to a tire when going over the hump, gaining speed without slowing down. SOLUTION: This vehicle slowdown hump is formed as an elongate block body with both sides formed into flat faces and with the center formed as a swollen part swollen into a circular arc or sine curve or a trapezoid, and the hump as a single body or a combination of a plurality of humps is laid on a road, crossing the proceeding direction of a vehicle. The hump itself is formed of an elastic body formed of rather hard rubber or resin or structured to breathe through an air hole by forming the interior of the swollen part as a void space, or an impact absorbent such as gel is filled in the void space. |
