PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate having both excellent printing durability of image areas and excellent developability and stain resistance of non-image areas and suitable particularly for image formation with laser light and to provide a method for making a planographic printing plate. SOLUTION: The photosensitive planographic printing plate is obtained by disposing an intermediate layer containing a diazonium compound on a surface- hydrophilized support and further disposing a photopolymerizable photosensitive layer comprising a titanocene compound, a compound having an addition polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated bond and a polymer binder on the intermediate layer. In the method for making a planographic printing plate, the photosensitive planographic printing plate is imagewise exposed with laser light and developed with a developing solution containing an inorganic alkali salt and a nonionic surfactant having a polyoxyalkylene ether group. |
