<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for examining, diagnosing, preventing and treating inflammation. SOLUTION: A DNA array coding endothelial cell-leukocyte adhesion molecules (ELAM), a production method for this kind of molecules, and ELAM substantiall not including ordinary bonded animal protein (including specific molecules ELAM1 and VCAM1 and 1b) are presented. An antibody to the ELAM is also presented. A DNA array coding molecules (MILA) concerned in leukocyte adhesion, a production method for this kind of molecules, and MILA substantially not including the ordinary bonded animal protein (including specific molecules CDX) are presented. An antibody preparation substance reactive to MILA is also presented. An identification method for molecules for impeding the bond of the leukocyte to the endothelial cell, a method for impeding the leukocyte bonded to the endothelial cell, and a method for detecting acute inflammation are also presented.</p> |
