<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect other vehicle-mounted loads without fail, if one among a plurality of vehicle-mounted loads handling different voltages goes out of order. SOLUTION: An electrical connection device for vehicle comprises a DC-DC converter 31, which converts a high voltage into a low voltage and outputs a low voltage to a plurality of ECUs 24 via a low-voltage power line 32; a high-voltage power line 35 which is branched from a high-voltage main line 12 and supplies high voltage to individual ECUs 24; a plurality of low-voltage fuses 34 for the respective ECUs 24 placed in the low-voltage power line 32 between the DC-DC converter 31 and the respective ECUs 24; a switching element 42, which is placed between the DC-DC converter 31 and a plurality of the low-voltage fuses 34 with one end of which being connected with the low-voltage power line 32 and the other end of which being connected with a grounding terminal 51; and a controller 41 which is placed between the DC-DC converter 31 and a plurality of the low-voltage fuses 34, detects voltage supplied to the low-voltage power line 32, and brings the switching element 42 into on-state, if short-circuiting occurs between the high-voltage power line 22 and the low-voltage power line 23 at any ECU 24, and the controller determines that an overvoltage has been produced in the low-voltage power line 32.</p> |
