<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector with a simple structure allowing an increase in the number of rows. SOLUTION: This socket connector has an insulator 3 having a plurality of holes 31a receiving a plurality of pins 17 of an LSI 15; a plurality of contacts 5 having contact parts 53 housed in contact housing parts 31c communicate with the plurality of holes 31a such that the contact parts 53 face the pins 17 through gaps; bar-like slide bodies 7 penetrating the contact housing parts 31c in a contact arrangement direction (a), installed in the contact housing parts 31c movably in an insertion/detachment direction b of the pins 17, and capable of pressing the contact parts 53 of the contacts 5 to the pins 17; and a cam 9 transmitting drive force to the slide bodies 7. The slide body 7 has a metal center part 71, and an insulation part 72 coating the peripheral face of the metal center part 71.</p> |
