PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug device which can be favorably installed in a bathtub by eliminating interference with other members. SOLUTION: The drain plug device is provided with a plug part 4 opening and closing a drain hole 11 of a bathtub bottom 2a, an operating force transmitting part 5 operating the plug part 4, driving parts 6 and 22 driving the operating force transmitting part 5, and an operating part 23 operating the driving parts. The operating part 23 and the driving parts 6 and 22 are installed in separate places, and an intermediate transmitting part 34 is provided transmitting movement of the operating part 23 to the driving part 22.
