PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition having not only the nearly same heat-releasing property as a heat-releasing sheet obtained by dispersing a powder of a metallic compound in a silicone rubber, but also sufficient electric insulation, and further having a strength and flame retardancy sufficient in practical application, and further to prepare a heat-releasing sheet comprising the composition. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant elastomer composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising (a) 100 pts.wt. styrenic thermoplastic elastomer, (b) 1-100 pts.wt. propylene homopolymer and/or propylene copolymer comprising the propylene as an essential component, and (c) 20-500 pts.wt. paraffinic oil, with (d) 100-150 pts.wt. magnesium hydroxide powder, (e) red phosphorus powder in a proportion of 7-15 wt.% based on the component (d), and (f) 300-900 pts.wt. alumina powder. The heat-releasing sheet comprises this composition.
