PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for a three-sectioned elevating cylinder of a traveling crane in which the base part of the three-sectioned elevating cylinder 20 elevating a telescoping boom 3 and laterally arranged in a row is pivoted on a revolving table 2 through a horizontal under mounting pin, the top part of the rod of the three-sectioned elevating cylinder 20 is pivoted on the revolving table 2, the base part upper side of a base boom section 5 of the horizontally elevated telescoping boom 3 is mounted, through a horizontal upper mounting pin 28, on the upper part lower side of the base boom section 5 pivoted through a foot pin 4, a large elevating force and a high lift are assured by the rather small diameter three- sectioned elevating cylinder, the gravity center of the elevating cylinder 3 in fallen state can be lowered, and an excellent traveling stability can be provided. SOLUTION: In this telescoping boom 3, the base part of the three-sectioned elevating cylinder 20 having the base part laterally arranged in a row is installed on the revolving table 2 through the lower mounting pin 27. The top part of the rod of the three-sectioned elevating cylinder 20 is pivoted on the revolving table 2. The base part upper side of the base boom section 5 of the horizontally falling telescoping boom 3 is pivoted through the foot pin 4, and pivoted on the upper part lower side of the falling base part boom section 5 through the horizontal upper mounting pin 28.
