PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device and a method therefor, which are capable of improving the comfortable feeling of a user, by a method wherein an indoor temperature, an air stream and a humidity in cooling or heating, which are satisfying respective characteristics of the user upon cooling or heating air conditioning of an air conditioner, are operated respectively to fulfill the control of air conditioning such as cooling or heating. SOLUTION: The operation control device for the air conditioner comprises an indication unit for indicating various questionnaire data for inputting the characteristic of a person, an inputting unit for inputting the characteristics of the person with respect to the questionnaire indicated in the indicating unit, and a microcomputer for operating the characteristic value of the person based on the private characteristic information inputted from the inputting unit and, thereafter, operating the indoor temperature, the air stream and the humidity upon cooling or heating by the operated characteristic value to control the operation of the air conditioner. |
