PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an acrylic adhesive tape and to obtain an adhesive tape having excellent adhesive property, especially suitable for optical uses. SOLUTION: This method for producing an acrylic adhesive tape comprises casting a composition comprising (a) 100 pts.wt. of an acrylic monomer, (b) 5-200 pts.wt. of a high-molecular weight polymer having >=50,000 weight-average molecular weight, and, if necessary, (c-1) a polymer having a high Tg and a low molecular weight of <=20,000 weight-average molecular weight and 25-200 deg.C Tg or (c-2) a polymer having a low Tg and a low molecular weight of <=20,000 weight-average molecular weight and -85 to 20 deg.C Tg, (d) a photopolymerization initiator and (e) a crosslinking agent on a substrate and carrying out a reaction at 0-10 deg.C. This acrylic adhesive tape is obtained by the method. |
