PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a synthetic fiber by which the amount of a finishing oil solution attached is reduced compared with a conventional method to enable cost down and operability such as roller card through property and winding property in a higher processing step can be improved, because the finishing oil solution is uniformly attached to the fiber. SOLUTION: This method for producing the synthetic fiber is characterized by spraying the finish to a synthetic fiber tow to apply the finish to the tow immediately after drawing and heat treatment and then re-applying the finish to the tow by a roller system before crimping.
