HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a heat-shrinkage polyester film having excellent shrinkage finishing properties and capable of preventing deterioration and discoloration of contents while maintaining visibility of the contents. SOLUTION: This heat-shrinkable polyester film comprises >=5 mol% of a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol component in 100 mol% of a polyhydric alcohol component. The film has the following characteristics (1), (2) and (3). (1) <=20% light transmittance at 380 nm wavelength, (2) <=60% light transmittance at 400 nm wavelength and (3) <=15% value of haze.
