PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal jacket for manganese dry cells which does not have prominent seems and has superior appearance. SOLUTION: The metal jacket for manganese dry cells is characterized by equipping with an adhesion label which has a label base material, an adhesion layer, and a printing layer at least beforehand, to the metal jacket for manganese dry cells. For the adhesion layer of an adhesion label, it is desirable that it be constituted with a heat sensitive adhesive. The adhesion label can be provided with the heat given from the inner side and/or the outside of the metal jacket for manganese dry cells. Moreover, the manganese dry cell can be manufactured by providing the metal jacket for manganese dry cells to the main part of the battery of the manganese dry cell.
