PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal in which the inside and the outside of a vehicle is determined without requiring special SW operations, and to provide an optimal utilization environment. SOLUTION: When a mobile terminal 15 is removed from a mobile unit 11, the mobile unit 11 is separated from the mobile terminal 15, and a vehicle sensor 110 detects a signal 'HIGH' from a pull-up resistance and determines that there is a user at the outside of the vehicle. Upon receiving a signal indicative of the outside of the vehicle, a control section 150, on the basis of current position data calculated on a display section 170 by a position calculating section 180 provides a display suitable for walking movement, together with map information stored at a storage section 160 and displays characters with a font size which is small enough for a pedestrian to read on hand. |
