PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector capable of restricting a situation wherein waterproofness is impaired even if tension is applied to an electric wire in a detaching direction from an electric wire push-in groove. SOLUTION: This waterproof connector 1 is provided with a housing 3 capable of housing a terminal fitting 2 installed to an end part of the electric wire W, a waterproof member 4 having an electric wire insertion groove 6 allowing insertion of the electric wire W, and a cover 5 installed to the housing 3 with the waterproof member 4 sandwiched between the cover 5 and the housing 3. The cover 5 is formed with the electric wire push-in groove 15 into which the electric wire W is pushed. A separation distance L of an opening edge part 15A of the push-in groove 15 is smaller than an external diameter of the electric wire W, and a width in an electric wire installation inner part 15B on the inner side of the opening edge part 15A of the push-in groove 15 is larger than the external diameter of the electric wire W.
