PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a portable type inspection confirmation assisting device excellent in portability and controllability as the inspection confirmation assisting device capable of sharply decreasing a feeling of uncertainty of a safety inspection in the case of going out. SOLUTION: A key holder 3 is used for a holder holding a key 1A by fixing the key head. When it is carried, a key body 1Aa of the key 1A is held between a movable contact 41 of a conductive flat spring and a holding flat spring 43, and the key holder 3 is tightly connected to a key case 40 i.e., a portable case 2. The movable contact 41 and a fixed contact 42 are constituent members of a key taking in and out sensor. In the case of locking, the key holder 3 is separated from the portable case 2, and the key 1A is pulled out of the key case 40. Then, the movable contact 41 comes into contact with the fixed contact 42, and the key taking in and out sensor transmits a key taking in and out signal. Based on the key taking in and out signal, a CPU of an electronic circuit section 4 indicates an inspection confirming message on a liquid crystal indicator 18.
