PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide visual field by correcting distortion of a stereo image for stereoscopic vision of high precision with real time, because the visual field of a stereo endoscope image which is used in the case of a surgical operation is narrow and has distortion. SOLUTION: A picture image photographed by an image pickup apparatus 2 for stereoscopic vision is inputted in a stereoscopic vision image forming apparatus 1, subjected to high speed image processing by a geometrical deformation means 6 using bilinear interpolation and a color modulation means 8 using piecewise linear transformation, and outputted to a stereoscopic vision image presenting apparatus 3. |
