PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that can correct burst errors over 20 million consecutive bits with a cost increase and an additional latency in a realizable degree and to provide its realization method. SOLUTION: This invention utilizes an SDRAM device for a replacement buffer and employs an address remapping method to substantially make a read rate equal to a write rate thereby overcoming the limit in a conventional SDRAM device when it is used to realize a large scale matrix transposition. When the number of columns stored in one page is too small, that is, an overhead cycle of the SDRAM (when rows are read) is amortized over the number of memory reference times caused before page change resulting that an effective memory cycle rate suffices no system requirement, this method uses the address remapping with respect to the matrix transposition.
