PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog timer, in which using conveniences are superior and in which on/off of the timer output is switchable at a prescribed position of a time setting knob, when the timer is set at a test mode. SOLUTION: This timer is provided with an oscillation circuit 11, a divider circuit 12, a count/control part 13, an output circuit 14, and a knob position detecting part 15, and at setting of the test mode, sequence action or the like of the external equipment is checked by switching the on/off of the timer output T0 at the prescribed position (0 position of graduation) for the time setting knob 5.
