PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for combined filament yarn production, with which damage of yarn can be reduced even in the case of high-speed processing, high-quality combined filament yarns can be produced in various kinds and facilities can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: This apparatus for combined filament yarn has constitution that an apparatus 5 for combined filament yarn for mutually blending two multifilament yarns a and b from the upstream in the traveling direction of the yarns is arranged between takeout rollers 4a and 4b and an inlet roller 6 and/or between an exit roller 8 and a take-off roller 9, an operation zone is set between a heater 7 installed in the vertical downward direction relatively to the traveling direction of the yarn and a winder 10, the heater 7 and the winder 10 are laid at positions with operation surfaces facing each other while putting the operation zone between. The outlet roller 8 for changes the traveling direction of the yarn discharged from the heater 7 and making the yarn travel at the downside of an operation stand 11 arranged at the lower side of the operation zone and the take-off roller 9 for changing the traveling direction of the yarn in the vertical upward direction are installed and the winder 10 for winding the combined filament yarn is laid above the take-off roller 9.
