PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an aliphatic carbonate com pound having biodegradability and unsaturated bonds, and high functionality, in such a manner that the reduction of the amount of the unsaturated bonds is suppressed, the manufacturing is carried out with high safety, and the aliphat ic carbonate compound is manufacture at a low cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an aliphatic carbonate having unsaturated bonds is carried out as follows: reaction raw materials comprising an aliphatic polyalcohol and/or an alicyclic polyalcohol having >=3 of hydroxyl groups, and an alkyl carbonate compound as essential components are subjected to condensation reaction by transesterification; and subsequently, the reaction product is treated for esterification with an unsaturated monobasic acid.
