PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transfer performance of toner so as to prevent an abnormal image such as the central blanking of a character part, to reduce waste toner amount and toner consumption by improving the transfer rate of the toner, to improve the uniformity of a solid image by improving the replenishing property of the toner, to improve thin line reproducibility by the decrease of toner scattering, and to reduce surface staining by improving the stability of electrification environment, and further to obtain a printed matter excellent in long term heat stability, color reproducibility, color vividness, gloss, transparency and fixing property. SOLUTION: The toner for electrophotography incorporates at least a binder resin and a colorant, and is set so that tensile strength at break at 10 kg/cm<2> compression is 10 to 1400 (N/m<2> ) and bulk density is 0.10 to 0.50 (g/cm<3> ). |
