PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a ferritic sintered magnet which has a satisfactory degree of orientation while suppressing deterioration in dehydration properties on wet molding in production by using a wet molding method with water as a dispersion medium. SOLUTION: The method is provided with a first pulverizing stage wherein a calcined body is pulverized to obtain calcined powder, a heat treatment stage wherein the calcined powder is subjected to heat treatment, a secondary pulverizing stage wherein the heat-treated calcined powder is pulverized, a molding stage wherein the pulverized calcined powder and slurry containing a dispersant are subjected to wet molding to obtain a molding, and a sintering stage wherein the molding is sintered. On addition of SiO2 and CaCO3 to the calcined powder before the molding stage, after the heat treatment stage, at least 50 mass% of the CaCO3 is added, and as the above dispersant, the specific one such as gluconate, citric acid and polyhydric alcohol is used. |
