PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-output LED element capable of uniform light emission. SOLUTION: The LED element comprises on a growth substrate of a semiconductor a light emission part composed by laminating semiconductor layers including an active layer, and a reflection part, provided on the outer side of the light emission part with a slope, whose surface facing the side face of the light emission part, is inclined with respect to the substrate horizontal plane. A part, having two different optical functions that are light emission part provided with a light emission layer including the active layer, and the reflection part provided with the slope which receives the light emitted from the side face of the light emission part and reflecting it on the same substrate, are formed with the small-sized and high-output LED element. |
