PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the plotting speed of a plotter. SOLUTION: Data for plotting to be used for a series of plotting processing are simultaneously generated by a modeling processing part 4 and a geometry processing part 5, and the generated data for plotting are transferred to a multi-path buffer 7 by a control part 6. Then, plotting processing is executed by reading out the data for plotting stored in the multi-path buffer 7 in order according to the control of the control part 6 by a multi-path controller 8 and outputting the data to a rendering engine 10. Thus, when transferring the data for plotting from a main processor to a graphics processor, bandwidth can be saved and the load of the main processor can be reduced.
