PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control device of a vehicle for high lift work capable of performing such a speed control operation of right and left travel devices as can assure both safety and working efficiency. SOLUTION: This traveling control device comprises a means for calculating a drive speed instruction value by using an operation speed instruction value. The calculation means performs a calculation to lower the drive speed instruction value by more increasing the degree of deceleration as the value of the ratio Va/Vb (where|Va|<|Vb|) or Vb/Va (where|Vb|<|Va|) of the right and left speed instruction values Va and Vb having polarities in consideration of a traveling polarity is lower or a difference|Va-Vb|is larger. Thus a deceleration can be performed according to a difference in speed and the ratio of speeds of the right and left traveling devices.
