摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a deviation from actual behavior of fuel pressure even in a transition of pressure change by computing an estimate pressure by anticipatory control based on a reached pressure not through feedback control of a manipulated variable of an electric fuel pump but by means of a manipulated variable based on a difference between a target pressure and the estimate pressure. SOLUTION: A fuel pressure control system operates the electric fuel pump 2 according to a given current-carrying duty to control fuel pressure supplied from a fuel tank 1 to an engine 9. An electronic control unit(ECU) 40 computes a reached pressure corresponding to the present current-carrying duty to the pump 2, and computes the next estimate pressure according to a difference between the reached pressure and the present estimate pressure. The ECU 40 computes the next current-carrying duty according to a difference between a target pressure and the next estimate pressure, and operates the pump 2 according to the next current-carrying duty to control the fuel pressure to the engine 9.
