PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pickup device for a hermetic compressor simplified in structure by an integral formation of an impeller and an oil pickup tube. SOLUTION: The oil pickup device for a hermetic compressor comprises the oil pickup tube having one end coupled to and rotated by a crankshaft so as to be dipped in oil and having an impeller portion integrally formed so as to pickup oil and supply it upward by rotational centrifugal force.
