METHOD FOR PURIFICATION OF CARBOXYLIC ACID ESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the purification of a carboxylic acid ester to remove an organic titanium catalyst and the organic titanium compound derived from the catalyst on an industrial scale at a low cost from a carboxylic acid ester obtained by using the organic titanium catalyst in reactions such as a transesterificaiton reaction of a carboxylic acid ester and an alcohol or a direct esterification reaction of a carboxylic acid and an alcohol. SOLUTION: The carboxylic acid ester produced by the reaction using the organic titanium catalyst is contacted with a solid adsorbent.
