PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a print system, and a print system communication equipment and method capable of easily judging a communication environment between a printer and information terminal equipment, and setting the communication environment as not less than a prescribed reference, level and making the communication environment vary according to situations. SOLUTION: This print system is constituted of a printer 1 and information terminal equipment 2. The printer 1 transmits data for testing a communication environment to the information communication terminal 2, and receives a frame returned from the information communication terminal 2. A bit error rate BER1 is calculated based on the different number of bits between the transmitted data and the received data, and when the calculated BER1 exceeds a prescribed value, a communication channel is changed, and when the BER1 is not more than the prescribed value, a display part 7 displays a message that the communication environment is satisfactory. |
