<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader, having simple and inexpensive configuration that eliminates static electricity produced by slide contact of an original, so as to realize superior original carrying and image reading. SOLUTION: A conductive tape 540 is adhered from a slide contact side (upper side) of a skim-through read glass pane 502 over its opposite side (lower side) and a grounded optical frame 551, and the lower side of the skim-through read glass pane 502 clamp the conductive tape 540 to connect the skim-through read glass pane 502 to the ground.</p> |
