摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic composite material, capable of producing the material extremely improved in impact resistance by adding calcium carbonate to a thermoplastic. SOLUTION: This method for producing the thermoplastic composite material comprises kneading the thermoplastic with at least the calcium carbonate under such a condition that the thermoplastic is molten, wherein such calcium carbonate that has an average particle diameter of 0.01-1.0μm and is treated with a higher fatty acid is used as the calcium carbonate, and the thermoplastic and the calcium carbonate are kneaded under such a condition that the kneaded mixture exhibits a viscosity of >=2×10<4> Pa.s at a shear stress of 4 MPa, so that the thermoplastic composite material contains the calcium carbonate in an amount of 10-60 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the thermoplastic.
