PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which leakage of chill is decreased and power consumption is reduced. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a storage chamber, a door for opening/closing the front side of the storage chamber, a timer for counting the time when the door is opened, and means for displaying the counted time.
