PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen capable of changing the thickness of a grip part to be gripped by a user in a simple and inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: A pen top end part 4 is connected via an expandable elastic member 6 to a pen main body 1 so as to shift both in the approaching direction and receding direction. The elastic member 6 is shaped like an almost cylindrical basket as a whole constituted of a thin leaf spring or coil spring so as to be made thick according as it is compressed, and to be made thin according as it is expanded. The pen top end part 4 is shifted in the approaching direction or in the receding direction relative to the pen main body 1 so that the elastic member 6 can be compressed or expanded. Thus, the thickness of the grip part can be changed.
