PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the wiring work of a door switch easily while reducing the labor by eliminating the need for wiring through a thermal insulation material. SOLUTION: On the front surface of a refrigerator body 1 having a refrigeration chamber 10, a wiring duct 20 is provided along the upper or lower end edge of the refrigeration chamber 10 and a door switch 21 is disposed in the wiring duct 20. Since a work for wiring through a thermal insulation material surrounding the refrigeration chamber, which is inevitable in a conventional refrigerator where the door switch is disposed in the refrigeration chamber, is eliminated, wiring work can be carried out easily with a high work efficiency.
