PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring a multi- component force which eliminates the problem of a complexion of a bridge circuit wiring of a strain gage and a zero-point change, and which reduces a mutual interference between component forces for improving measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the multi-component force comprises the steps of laminating total of 32 (AI, BI,..., HIII, HIV) of strain gauges on four sensitive surfaces of four prismatic sensitive unit beams I to IV, to constitute bridge circuits by four strain gauges (e.g. AI. BI, CI and DI) laminated on the opposed surfaces in sections of the beams, to total 8 sets of the bridge circuits, inputting output signals of the 8 sets of the bridge circuits to an arithmetic converter to convert into 6 component forces, primarily correcting at least an interference of the 6 component forces, and measuring the 6 component forces.
