<p>Remote tissue harvesting and collection apparatuses and methods for their use utilize a remotely controllable tissue harvesting and collection head (20) provided with a tissue collection cannula (26) releasably attached to a reciprocating driving conveyor (22). The apparatuses and method provide remote positioning and control of tissue collection cannulas and the subsequent remote tissue harvesting and collection of tissue samples without directly exposing medical personnel to hazardous environmental conditions, including X-rays.</p> |
