The stand for the clamping of rod-form components and especially Christmas trees has several holding elements (7) installed in a ring around the fastening end of the component. Each holding element has a means of locking through which it is detachably fixed at least in its open position. The holding element by its means of locking is detachably fixed also in at least one pivoted position within the range of the possible holding positions. The means of locking comprises a spring-loaded locking component which by a locking catch (13) engages in a recess (11) in the holding element.
