The shutter is held by elastic pull in a basic position at right angles to the outside wall and is drawn by cable pull for opening into front of the wall and for closing in front of the window. The elastic pulls are preferably made from fibre-reinforced rubber webs and the tension force can be regulated by changing the belt width. Bore holes in the window frame can be protected from rubbing by the pulleys by reinforcing aluminium eyelets (5).
