A clip installer, comprising a case (11) having a lower case (12) and an upper case (13) fitted to each other, wherein a passage (15) for clips (C) and a mouth part (16) continued to the passage are provided in the case (11), a wait part (20) with reduced height is provided at the front part of the lower case (11) and the foremost clip (C) is positioned at the wait part (20), and a stopper part (28) is provided at the wait part (20) so as to be received into a recessed part (62) provided at the rear part (57) of the clip (C) to restrict the backward movement of the clip (C), whereby, since the insertion of a document is allowed between the holding parts (55, 56) of the clip (C) when the document (P) is inserted from the outside into the mouth part (16), the clip (C) can be extracted from the mouth part (16) together with the document (P) by extracting the document (P) from the mouth part (16).
