FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multipurpose set designed for reducing noise and providing heat insulation of vehicles. Proposed set includes soft flexible open-pore springy layer of foam or fibrous layer of carpet, microporous and light layer increasing rigidity, especially rigidly compressed fibrous layer, for instance, combination of fiber and foam, and porous layer - coating, for instance, carpet or protective layer, placed on top. Microporous fibrous layer has summary resistance to air flow in range from R = 500N.cm-3 to r = 2500N.cm-3. Rigidity increasing layer features bending strength from B=0.05 Nm to B=10.5 Nm. This permits replacement of classic spring-mass system used for reducing noise in vehicles by more light system which is 50% lighter than standard one.
