SUBSTANCE: timer affording sequential generation of time intervals in comprehensive range of lengths has pulse generator whose output is connected to input of pulse counter; comparison unit; command generation unit whose outputs are connected to inputs of data shaping unit and function as timer outputs; novelty is introduction of switching device whose inputs are connected to respective outputs of pulse counter, switching-device inputs are connected to first outputs of data shaping unit and outputs, to first inputs of comparison unit whose second inputs are connected to second outputs of data shaping unit; output of comparison unit is connected to input of command generating unit.
