The device is assembled of a cleaning element (2) and a long stick (1). The cleaning element is designed as a small shovel (2), its rounded bottom matching the shape of the inner surface of the gutter (3) and provided with a downwards bent front edge (7) for the removal of solid debris. A vertical element (5) at the rear protects the collected matter from falling off again. The upper end of the stick (1) is u-shaped (9) in order to fit across the rim of the gutter (3). A straight segment (8) extending horizontally from the bent end of the stick (1) can be inserted into a metal bow (6) provided at the rear (5) of the shovel element (2) and locked with a suitable device.
