摘要 A method of manufacturing the turbine frame of a VGS type turbo charger capable of realizing the mass−production of the turbine frame by manufacturing the turbine frame without almost requiring a time−consuming cutting operation when manufacturing the turbine frame rotatably holding a movable blade in the VGS type turbo charger,characterized by comprising the steps of forming a blank material punched out from a metal material with an almost constant plate thickness so as to have a boss part forming part(24a)and a flange forming part(23a)integrally with each other to use as a raw material(W)forming the original member of the turbine frame,forming the boss forming part(24a)in a projected state by a press forging mold and forming,by punching out,a receiving hole for rotatably holding the moving blades in the flange forming part(23a),and performing the machining of the raw material(W)in warm state in a part or all of the processes.
