FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to technology of amine treatment of gas to remove acid components and is intended to prevent foaming of process solutions containing ethanolamines used on gas-processing plants as absorbents and to suppress foam in case of formation thereof. Amine solution is preliminarily completed by antifoaming agent and, if necessary, foam suppressor is added. Antifoaming agent utilized is organosilicon substance and foam suppressor is toluene solution of siloxane polymer.
